Summary: Finnex uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (visits, pages viewed). It does not use advertising cookies or sell your data to anyone. Your financial information never leaves your device.

1. What are cookies?

2. Cookies Finnex uses

Finnex uses Google Analytics to measure visits and general site usage (for example, how far the page is scrolled). These cookies do not identify your name or financial information, and you can block them from your browser settings without the app breaking.

Finnex does not use any type of cookie for:

Displaying personalized advertising
Social networks or tracking pixels
Selling or sharing data with third parties

3. Local storage (localStorage)

Finnex uses the browser's local storage (localStorage) as a technical mechanism to save your financial data. This is different from cookies:

Data remains only on your device
It is not transmitted to any server
It has no automatic expiration date
It is only accessible from your browser on your device

4. External sources

The Finnex website loads the Nunito typeface from Google Fonts and the Google Analytics script to measure visits. Both requests generate a connection with Google's servers, which may involve logging your IP address according to Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.

5. How to delete local storage

If you want to delete all Finnex data from your device, you can do so from two places:

Inside the app: Settings → Data → Delete all
From your browser: Settings → Privacy → Clear site data
